Lemonade Stands

I know you may have seen them around before but we are still swooning over the cuteness of having a lemonade stand (of the alcoholic kind) at your wedding. What a perfect, yet practical prop to add to your backyard or outdoor wedding in which all your guests will enjoy. If your after a vintagey feel, get your soon to be hubby to be to knock together one using old and mismatched wood. Don’t fear if your fiance (like my husband) is no handy man, the shabbier the better really.

So get creative, the possibilities are endless. Try serving pre-mixed ‘signature’ cocktails such as pink lemonade, peach iced tea, apple cider (yummy for winter!) in a glass drink dispenser. Collect some recycled mason jars or mismatched glassware and don’t forget your stripey paper straws and Voila!!! A cute and cost effective make shift bar.

Wow! what a amazing time we just had attending and styling the wedding of our nearest and dearest friends Alex and Kobi Graham located in Fiji. Words cannot sum it all up…the divine location, the casual yet stylish reception, the amazingly gorgeous bride! So i’ll keep it short and let the pictures do the talking…

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Graham! We love you.

I do..We did

Having both attended and worked on so many gorgeous weddings recently it has inspired me to look back and re-live my very own wedding day. Coming up to three years ago, our closest family and friends witnesses the day I married my one true love, my very best friend and my puzzle peice for life. It was situated on the Mid North Coast of NSW on my in-laws property. We were so blessed to have the opportunity to utilise their property and have them welcome us and our guests so open heartedly. It was perfectly equipped with a stunning county outlook and even had an old tin barn which we used for our reception.

I wore a Chantilly Lace dress by Vera Wang and held a bouquet of poppies which were symbolic to Tom’s family. In fact we had poppies everywhere! All our tables were lined with tins of poppies and each guest had a single poppy folded into their napkins.

The walls of the barn were lined with collected jars which held tea lights and we had strung up sting lights from the ceiling (the barn had no electricity so we had to wire everything up to the house!)

Our photos were taken from the very talented Tim Pascoe and I found it so hard to limit them down to share with you today. I am still just in love with them all. Enjoy xo
